Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Hosts
Teacher Recruitment Forums
Forums Set for January 22 and January 24

Chattanooga, Tenn. – (January 12, 2009) – The city’s first all girls public charter school, the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA), is hosting a teacher recruitment forum on Thursday, January 22 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and on Saturday, January 24 from 10 am - noon. The forums will be held at the school located at 1200 Grove Street.

“These forums are designed to recruit teachers who have a strong professional academic background and a fervent desire to make a difference in the lives of our girls,” said Julie Davidson, Dean of Faculty of the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy. “Not only will attendees have an opportunity to learn about CGLA, they will also be given a chance to schedule an interview, which will be held at a subsequent date.”
CGLA officials decided to host the forum on two separate days to offer flexibility for educators who live locally and for those who will be traveling to the forum from other cities throughout the Southeast Region. Educators who are interested in attending are required to attend only one session.

To register for one of CGLA’s Teacher Recruitment forums, please send an email including your name and phone number to cgla2009@bellsouth.net. The deadline to register is January 20.
