Dan Creed’s collection entitled Black Diamond: The Negro League in America pays tributes and celebrates the lives of Negro League baseball players. The exhibit features more than 70 memorabilia and artifacts including replica jerseys from Chattanooga Black Choo Choos, Kansas City Monarchs, and the Birmingham Black Barons and original Negro League advertising products and pennants.

Black Diamond will be on display at the Chattanooga African American Museum now through Friday, October 31. Visitors can tour this exhibit as well as others Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or on Saturdays from Noon to 4 pm. General admission is $5, $3 for senior citizens and students and $2 for children ages 6-12. Members and children 5 and under are free.
