Once in a while you hear a guy with a story and you are moved in a way that when you walk away - you don't forget that story. Jay Shell was born in Piedmont, Alabama - raised in Spring Garden, Alabama and now some 30 years later Jay has began to tell his story through his music and songs. After his introduction to Chris Austin his life changed forever and the two formed a bond and found they both have somewhat "the same story" to tell. It doesn't take long to realize when you see your first KneckDown show that you are seeing something special. Maybe not so special because the two are so talented - but mostly because of the way you feel when you leave the show. You seem to have this smile on your face, this ease about yourself, and you leave wondering what will happen next. In a matter of seconds you see two guys that each of you can relate to in some way. Its easy to tell that they have worked hard, love, and appreciate all they have been given. Over the last year the duo has worked hard and built a great following. Today with the addition of a great - talented band driving them, they have become a music force to be taken seriously. What happens next? No one knows. We just keep waiting to hear the next chapter of this amazing story....
