Local Power Soccer teams will compete and receive USPSA rankings from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 at the Brainerd Recreation Center located at 1010 N. Moore Road. The program is coordinated through the city's Therapeutic Recreation Division.
"Power soccer engages young people with physical disabilities in a game and competitive sports experience they never thought they'd have", explains TR Coordinator Elaine Adams.
Chattanooga's local team, the "Chattanooga Speeders", has been invited to the D2 National Power Soccer Tournament in Duluth, Georgia on June 13 - 15.
