Who are our Hometown Heroes? Are they caregivers who work to comfort children after a disaster has driven them from their home? Men and women who volunteer time, talent and energy to provide life-saving services to those in need across town, across the country and around the world? Heroes may be hard to classify, but each displays something — courage, dedication, concern, conviction — that moves and inspires us to do more and to be more.
The Greater Chattanooga Area Chapter of The American Red Cross will be recognizing individuals exemplifying courage, kindness and unselfish character. Five local heroes will be selected from nominations submitted by the community. These outstanding individuals can be First Responders, Good Samaritans (youth and adult), Red Cross volunteers and military personnel.
You can help the Greater Chattanooga Area Chapter of the American Red Cross
by supporting this important event. Proceeds will help the Chapter continue its
vital role in the community providing local disaster assistance, health and safety
training and emergency assistance to military families.
