Join the White Oak Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation's Women in the Outdoors for a day of learning outdoor skills at the Hiwassee Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, March 8. Classes will be taught in subjects like archery, rifle skills, firearms cleaning, reading a map and compass, getting your backyard certified as a wildlife habitat, and much more. The clinic is appropriate for women and girls ages 14 and older when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The workshop fee is $40/ $55 for mother-daughter teams.
